Ran across this pretty incredible link today. The 88 has recorded a new single using only their iPhone and the Alesis Pro Track. Check out the video, and then go listen to the song on iTunes. Clearly they mixed the song in Pro-Tools, but still, recording with just their iPhone is impressive.

Goodbye Spare Time!
As you may or may not know, we’re massively huge fans of Luxology’s Modo. It is my go-to application for almost all of my 3D needs. Today they have released their massively upgraded Modo 401. I won’t get in to the technical stuff about what’s new, you should go check it out for yourself. The video to the right is a demonstration given recently previewing some of the awesome new features. A.M. Cassandre produced the typeface Bifur for Peignot in 1929. Bifur broke from rigid typographic forms by combining Art Deco principles of obsessive geometry with the line and stroke of letter forms. Skute picks up Cassandre’s spirit and carries it onward in YWFT hand set fashion

I’ve been messing about with Synplant again lately. It is hard to argue with the sounds you get out of this little thing. It is quite a bit of fun to mess around with. Excuse the poorly played bass part.

Jimmy randomly started humming this song in the office this morning. A quick scuffle happened over who actually sang it, but in the end we were both wrong. How could we forget the great George?! Anyhow, go listen and feel happy.
