Sad news folks, we’ve lost a legend. Julias ‘Sho Nuff’ Carry III, was the star of one of the most sampled cult-classics of the 80s, The Last Dragon. DJ Spinbad might have done it the best in his masterfully recorded 80s megamixes.

Beautiful
After picking up a copy of Esquire UK I was really impressed by how gorgeous everything was, from the type to the colors to the layout. I was planning on doing a little write-up on the subject until I found I’d been beat to the punch by this nice little post from Magazine Love. Also, here is another review from magCulture with some nice shots of the magazine. If anyone is wondering who designed that wonderful font, here is your answer.

As you have surely noticed we’ve really been slacking on posts lately. We love our blog, but sometimes we’re so busy jumping through hoops that it’s hard to find the time to write the stuff we want to. The good news is that we’ve been working on some really fun stuff and you can check out some of the behind the scenes stuff in our flickr gallery.

Today Wordpress released an iPhone app and so far it is looking super fresh! Ok let’s wait and see how well this post goes…
Ok, not bad. You can take a photo with your phone and include that with your post. But the post still needs some tidying up to get everything looking nice and neat in our format.

What Happened, Mozilla?
I’ve been a big fan of Firefox since the very beginning but the look of FF3 for Mac is just unacceptable. Just look at that massive back button. Check out those upside down tabs. The browser doesn’t even display Google properly (note the overlaping of the buttons with the search form). The worst part is that FF3 for windows is much better looking. It’s almost as if Mozilla just settled on a half-hearted attempt to copy Safari. And I’m not the only one who feels this way.
Thankfully, there is a theme that makes it all better.
